Never give a lift to the travelers.

Keep your properties like handbag, purse etc near you during travel and shopping.

Don´t leave any valuable things in your car.

While traveling and waiting in the signal keep your car doors and windows shut especially in Johannesburg where still car hijacking occurs.

Be careful when you enter a petrol station in the evening times.

Avoid stopping if a doubtful person along the roadside makes signal indicating for help that might be a trap.

In most cases travel with your cell phones switched off.
